What are dermatomas

Sensory reactions of the human body are directly related to the capacity of our nervous system to generate and respond to external stimuli.

Dermatomas are delimited areas of the skin, in different body areas, where the response to the stimulus can be related to the nerve roots coming from the spinal cord, being a great clinical diagnostic indicator of spinal cord injuries involving the spinal cord region.
