Emergency Law
The Law on urgency is a regulation that guarantees that people can be treated in any health facility when they present a vital urgency or emergency.
You cannot refuse care or demand any document or promissory note in exchange as a guarantee.
It is important to know that vital emergency care or serious functional sequelae are not free of charge; the Isapres or Fonasa subsequently charge the patient the corresponding part, i.e. the co-payment.
